Inspired by the all of the adventures that come with 10 years of marriage and 4 beautiful children.
The couple wanted to make this the most meaningful invitation anyone had ever received, so they started with the crest design (hand painted by The Wells Makery).
The crest featured the letter L - all of the family members’ first names begin with the letter ‘L.’
Each one of their children had a special element painted into the crest that was unique and representative of that child (a lion, a bunny, a hummingbird, and a lily).
The theme of the celebration was bringing two people together - east meets west - with an ethereal and coastal feel and also a mountain vibe.
We used handmade cotton paper mixed with hand-dyed silk ribbon and a white wax seal to tie everything together.
We used a flowing modern script alongside a traditional block font to marry the airiness of the coast and the couple’s laid-back lifestyle with the sturdiness of the mountains and a solid foundation of their marriage of 10 years.
