Mountain Romance at a Private Residence in Steamboat Springs
Elizabeth & Cushman
Steamboat Springs, Colorado
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of a private family residence in Steamboat Springs, this custom wedding invitation suite was designed to feel as warm and welcoming as the celebration itself. Inspired by an elegant fall weekend in the Colorado mountains, the suite featured engraving on pearl white double-thick cotton cardstock with beveled, edge-painted finishes for an heirloom-quality presentation. Light blue silk ribbon, custom wax seals, hand calligraphy, and a watercolor envelope liner illustrating the mountaintop where the couple got engaged created an invitation that felt deeply personal, while wood grain save the dates offered a subtle nod to the surrounding landscape.
Every wedding day detail carried the story forward with thoughtful, cohesive design. Ceremony programs included a custom watercolor map of the property to help guests explore the expansive venue, while signature cocktail signs, table numbers, and place cards brought soft blue, peach, and white accents into the reception. A custom acrylic seating chart welcomed guests at the entrance to a breathtaking floral archway leading into the tent, setting the tone for the evening ahead. Menus were finished with wax seals in different colors to discreetly indicate each guest's meal selection, blending beauty with function. Guests were also welcomed with thoughtfully curated gift bags filled with the couple's favorite things—including custom cookies from Whataburger flown in from Texas—making every detail feel personal, memorable, and unmistakably theirs.
