Custom Stationery Design
Our process starts with a complimentary consultation, which can be in person or over the phone. If our meeting is in person, you can bring your fiancé, wedding planner, mother, best friend, or come solo. It’s nice for all folks who will help with making decisions to be at the appointment if possible so they can be a part of the experience and see all the paper and print options in person.
During this meeting, we will get a sense for the look, feel, and overall vibe of your wedding. We’ll translate the vision of your wedding into a full invitation suite.
After the meeting, we’ll send a meeting recap, an itemized quote with options for you to choose from, and a production calendar. Once you approve the quote, we require a signed contract and a 50% deposit to get started on design of the first proof.
From there, we will go back and forth with proofs and edits until we arrive at a final proof that you love. You’ll triple check everything and sign a final proof approval form. Everything will go into production, and we’ll keep you informed of assembly and mailing status.
Semi-Custom
See something you like? We can take a previous design and make slight alterations to fit your vision. You can customize text, colors and fonts. Generally, the design process is much shorter for a semi-custom suite than for a fully custom suite.
Timeline
We usually start designing semi-custom suites 4-10 months prior to your wedding day.
Custom
We love designing fully custom stationery that is inspired by the couple and tells a story about their journey. Really anything goes when designing a custom suite. We want to infuse your style and vision into your suite and create something that isn’t just paper - it’s an experience to be remembered by all of your guests.
Love is life’s greatest adventure after all.
Timeline
We usually start designing custom suites 6-13 months prior to your wedding day.
Day of Goods
Stationery doesn’t just include your save the dates and invitations. We love creating paper goods to continue your theme throughout your big day. Some of our favorite projects to work on are menus, programs, place cards and escort cards, seating charts, signature drink signs, cocktail napkins, matchbooks, and especially curated welcome gifts.
Timeline
We usually start designing day of goods 2 months prior to your wedding day.
